100% Completion Guide for GTA III

Hidden Packages are the only collectibles in GTA III.
They are spread across Portland, Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale.

For every single package Claude will receive $1,000 and for every 10 collected packages a new weapon pickup will appear at every safehouse with unlimited supply.

Here is the full reward list:

There are a total of 4 contractors in Liberty City that will give Claude orders.
Two contractors are active in Portland, one on Staunton Island, and one in Shoreside Vale.
Each contractor offers Payphone missions that count toward 100% completion and reward you with cash. You should hear a phone ringing once you are in proximity.

After completing the mission "Drive Misty For Me", Marty Chonks’ Payphone missions become available near Joey’s Garage in Portland.
Completing all 4 missions will reward Claude with a total of $10,000. After the mission "Van Heist", four new Payphone missions become available in the parking lot in Hepburn Heights on Staunton Island.
Completing these missions earns Claude up to $48,000. Once "Sayonara Salvatore" is successfully completed, you unlock the first and only Payphone missions of Staunton Island at Liberty Campus on Staunton Island.
After completing all 4 missions, Claude will have earned a total of $45,000. D-Ice is the only contractor with 5 missions and the only available contractor in Shoreside Vale.
His first mission becomes available after completing "A Drop in the Ocean" and can be started in Wichita Gardens, Shoreside Vale.

After completing all 5 contracts, Claude will have $75,000 added to his bank account.
Completing all contractor missions rewards Claude with a total of $178,000.

These challenges are special vehicle-based missions in GTA III. Each one requires you to race through checkpoints within a time limit to earn cash and progress toward 100% completion.

Right after completing "Luigi's Girls", a Patriot will spawn in front of the Supa Save! Supermarket at Portland View in Portland.

To complete this challenge you must drive through 15 checkpoints within 5 minutes.

If successful, Claude will earn $20,000.

Once you arrive on Staunton Island, a Stallion will spawn in the Newport Multistorey Car Park in Newport, Staunton Island. Entering the Stallion will start the challenge.
You must drive through 20 checkpoints within 2 minutes.

Completing the challenge rewards Claude with $30,000.

By entering the Landstalker near the barn in Belleville Park, this challenge will begin. Unlike the others, time is gained per checkpoint instead of given upfront.
You must drive through 12 checkpoints, and every checkpoint adds 10 seconds to the timer.

If you manage to collect all checkpoints, Claude will receive $30,000.

The hardest of the challenges. The mission starts by entering a Patriot on a parking place following a dirt road near Wichita Gardens in Shoreside Vale
You have 5 minutes to collect all 20 checkpoints across extreme terrain.

After completing the challenge, Claude is rewarded with $40,000.

Completing all GTA III challenges rewards Claude with a total of $120,000.

The RC missions in GTA III are started by entering a Toyz'n the Hood van. In each mission, Claude controls a remote vehicle and must destroy specific enemy cars for cash.

To start the first remote-controlled mission, Claude must enter the Toyz'n the Hood van parked in Hepburn Heights in Portland. In this mission, Claude must destroy as many Diablo Stallion cars as possible using the RC car.

For every destroyed vehicle, Claude earns $1,000.

This mission works the same way as Diablo Destruction. Enter the Toyz'n the Hood van in front of Momma's Restaurante in Portland to begin. Your objective is to destroy Mafia Sentinels across the area.

Each destroyed Sentinel rewards Claude with $1,000.

By entering the Toyz'n the Hood van in Torrington on Staunton Island, the third RC mission will begin. Claude must destroy Yakuza Stingers using the RC vehicle. Be careful when spawning the RC car, driving forward immediately can cause you to blow yourself up due to bad vehicle placement.

Each destroyed car earns $1,000.

The final RC mission in GTA III starts in Wichita Gardens in Shoreside Vale by entering the Toyz'n the Hood van. This time, Claude must destroy Hoods Rumpo XL vehicles across the area. Sometimes the van may fail to spawn. Restarting the game will usually fix this issue.

For every Rumpo XL destroyed, Claude receives **$1,000**.

Several vehicle missions are required for 100% completion in GTA III. These missions improve Claude’s abilities and unlock useful pickups at safehouses.

Paramedic missions are started by entering an Ambulance and pressing CAPS. To count toward 100% completion, Claude must finish Level 12.

• Rescuing 35 patients unlocks a Health pickup at every safehouse.
  
• After rescuing 70 patients, an Adrenaline Pill will spawn at each safehouse.
  
• Finally, after completing Level 12, Claude is rewarded with Infinite Sprint.

Firefighter missions are started by entering a Firetruck and pressing CAPS.
For 100% completion, Claude must extinguish 20 fires on each island, for a total of 60.

Completing this unlocks a Flamethrower spawn at every safehouse.

Vigilante missions begin by entering a police vehicle and pressing CAPS.
For 100% completion, Claude must eliminate 20 criminals on each island, for a total of 60.

• For every 10 kills on each island, a bribe star is added to each safehouse.
  
• This results in a total of up to 6 Bribe Stars at all safehouses.

Taxi missions can be started by entering a taxi and pressing CAPS. Claude must successfully complete a total of 100 fares, this does not need to be done in one sitting.

After finishing the last fare, Claude is rewarded with the special red Borgnine Taxi, which spawns at the Borgnine Taxis company in Harwood, Portland.

The Borgnine is much faster and more agile than a normal Taxi.

There are three different vehicle lists that Claude must complete in GTA III.
Each list has its own collection point and rewards money per delivered vehicle, plus a large completion bonus.

Rampages require Claude to kill or destroy specific targets within a time limit.
There are a total of 20 different Rampages scattered around all of Liberty City.

For the first Rampage Claude will earn $5,000.
After every completed Rampage, the reward increases by another $5,000.

You will need to complete all 20 rampages for 100% completion.

Just like later GTA titles, GTA III features Unique Stunt Jumps.
Compared to newer games, the jumps in GTA III are fairly easy. There are a total of 20 jumps:

• 8 in Portland
  
• 4 on Staunton Island
  
• 8 in Shoreside Vale

The first jump rewards $5,000.
Each completed jump adds another $5,000 to the reward.
The final stunt jump rewards Claude with $1,000,000 instead of $100,000.

There are no in-game rewards for achieving 100% completion.
However, I am very proud of you.
