Description & User Guide

Power Shell script (compiled to EXE) automates the launch of No Man's Sky via Steam and manages its window state to prevent focus-related stability issues. It waits for the NMS process to initialize and retrieves its primary window handle (MainWindowHandle). Upon initialization, the script enforces foreground focus by checking if the window is minimized, restoring it if necessary, and dispatching low-level Win32 API messages (WM_ACTIVATEAPP and WM_ACTIVATE) via user32.dll. It then enters a persistent monitoring loop: if the game loses foreground focus (e.g., due to background processes or user interaction), the script interceptively re-injects these activation messages. This continuous focus enforcement serves as an Alt-Tab fix, mitigating Vulkan swapchain degradation, performance drops, or crashes caused by application activity switching
