Master Level Equipment Guide
Introduction
Since Master Level came, method of getting equipment changed. Some quests actually gives you them but they aren't really strong compared to what you can get by "yourself", so here I am to tell you what equipment is good and also I'll tell you when you can use it and how you can obtain it, since you can wear some equipment at a certain level.
In this guide I'll divide equipment tiers by level.
*Take note that most tables I post here are optimized for spreadsheet use (I took all the info of them from my own MS Excel spreadsheet) and that's why you'll see repeated/redundant values.
Master Level 1 to 10 (Part A: Base Equipment)
============================
UPDATE:
As of update 2017/04/12[forums.warpportal.com] you get your Desert Scorpion set upon becoming Master Level 1. I'll keep this text just for reference.
============================
This is your first floor on getting equipment for Master Level. Even if you got good equipment for your Master Level quest, you'll still feel weak against Dayr Desert monsters. Because of that it's very important to get at least your "green" equipment (also known as Desert Scorpion set) right away and you can later decide if you want to craft them for their "blue" version (Menace set). For Warriors I highly suggested to get Menace set since their Desert Scorpion set doesn't give WIS and that means no SP to cast skills.
First of all, here is a list of which monsters you can get equipment for your class.
Stone Golem
Sand Mane Tribe Iron Mace Warrior
Red Tooth Tribe Iron Mace Warrior
Orange Sandman
Rock Desert Scorpion
Sand Mane Tribe Axe Warrior
Red Tooth Tribe Axe Warrior
Black Stone Golem
Sand Mane Tribe Shovel Worker
Red Tooth Tribe Shovel Worker
Desert Scorpion
Sand Mane Tribe Archer
Red Tooth Tribe Archer
Sand Desert Scorpion
Sand Mane Tribe Healer
Red Tooth Tribe Healer
Sand Tomb
Sand Mane Tribe Pickaxe Worker
Red Tooth Tribe Pickaxe Worker
And last but least, you can also get accesories too.
Desert Driller
Sand Mane Tribe Leader
Red Tooth Tribe Leader
(Thank you Tiduspeco for posting all this monsters drop info on WP forum)
This should be enough for grinding. For ML11 I suggest to get next set. But if you want to have even better equipment then keep on reading.
Master Level 1 to 10 (Part B: Equipment Crafting)
For better equipment on this range of levels, then you can craft the Menace set. It's a bit hard to do because you have to get materials from monsters and expend some MP. Let's start listing what's needed for each piece of armor and weapon, but first I'll tell you how to use the next tables.
Since there are classes that use off-hand equipment, some requirements are a bit different from classes that don't use it. Also there is a special case I found when doing this list. Priest set have a mix of previous cases, so for a better visualization I'll put equipment for Priests on a separate table.
Classes with Off-hand equipment
Special Case: Priest
Accesories
To craft this items you need to learn the corresponding design and they are dropped by the same monsters that drop a certain piece of equipment, for example to get Knight designs you need to kill Female Dayr Condor, Stone Golem, Sand Mane Tribe Iron Mace Warrior or Red Tooth Tribe Iron Mace Warrior (they can also drop Warrior designs too).
All materials are dropped from monsters but some can be bought by MP at Depara's shop. I'll list all materials and tell my personal best method to get them.
MaterialsMaster Level 11 to 19 (Part A: Base Equipment)
Obtaining gears for this level range works like the previous one. This time your green set is "Desert Storm" and your blue one is "Joser" set.
So, let's start with gears drop table.
Sander
Freyjanity Sword Warrior
Freyjanity Sword Fighter
Exectuer Desert Battler
Thought Of Musphel
Mummy
Female Sapphire Wolf
Apostle Of Guts
Freyjanity Desert Fighter
Freyjanity Desert Warrior
Striped Hyena
Freyjanity Sand Magician
Freyjanity Desert Magician
Burning Musphelian
Spotted Hyena
Executer Desert Attacker
Apostle Of Craze
Male Sapphire Wolf

Apostle Of Extreme Heat
Executer Desert Healer

And about accesories, here is which monster drops them.
Senorita
Niddle Niddle
Latnafura
Sand Shadow
Alfons
(Again, thank you Tiduspeco for posting all this monsters drop info on WP forum)
Again, this should be enough for grinding, but if you want to get even stronger equipment, then read the next section.
Master Level 11 to 19 (Part B: Equipment Crafting)
Again, this works like the previous crafting section, tables are divided by classes with and without off-hand and priest is also our special case. Let's take a look to the tables.
Classes with Off-hand equipment
Special Case: Priest
Again, Designs for certain class are also dropped by that monster that drops its equipment.
And here is where I find all materials
Materials(see map below)
Master Level 20 to 29 (Part A: Crafting requirements)
Good job so far. Here you'll get a high jump in your strength with this level equipment. Know that getting this set is hard if you don't have zeny to buy them from auction house, but worry not because I'll tell you how to get materials for Osiris set, your very first Master Level purple equipment set.
Here is what's needed to craft each piece of equipment:
Classes with Off-hand equipment
Special Case: Priest
Accesories
Now that we know what materials we need to have, we just need to know where to get this materials. In the next section we'll see where to get them.
Master Level 20 to 29 (Part B: Obtaining Materials)
For Osiris set you have to get ALL materials from monsters or Pillarnium mining. This is not the hardest equipment to get, but it's hard anyway if you don't have enough zeny to buy on auction house, but don't worry because I'm going to tell you where to find the materials.
Well, this is the most important thing you need to have but it's not easy to get.
All designs for osiris equipment are dropped by Osiris Tomb bosses.
You can try to get them, but at your level it's unlikely to get them. My suggestion is to find someone that already learned them and ask them to open a crafting shop (they may charge you some zeny, be prepared).
If you really want those designs, I'll list how bosses drops them.
- Shirt Designs
- Pants Designs
- Headgear Designs
- Gloves Designs
- Shoes Designs
- Accesories Designs
- Weapons Designs
- Off-hands Designs
This items are also dropped by Osiris Tomb bosses but they are more common than designs. You can end with multiple copies of the same piece if you farm them. My suggestion is to find them on auction house.
This is how bosses drops this items:
- Faith of Pharaoh
- Trust of Pharaoh
- Trace of Pharaoh
- Authority of Pharaoh
- Determination of Pharaoh
- Will of Pharaoh
This is easy, I find them very often on Mukas and also you can buy them from auction house, it shouldn't be very expensive.
Ok, this one will give you some troubles. You can find them on Depara at 300 MP each one, so grinding on EXP boosts will be easier but otherwise it won't and auction house won't help you either since they are expensive. So, I'll tell you where to find them. Around "Thrown out Temple" on Dayr Desert (see map below) you'll find mining spots for this item.
I know it's a big area so It's up to you to find out what's better to get this items (changing channel after a full run or just a reduced area).
This one is also hard, they aren't sold by Depara and are expensive on auction house, so your best option is to kill monsters. So far you probably haven't seen any that drops them and that's because this monsters are from Dayr Temples. Here's is where you can find them and what monsters I recommend to kill.
That's all for Osiris equipment materials. Good luck with them.
Master Level 30 to 34
We are getting closer to the arguably better place to earn MP, but first you need to get better equipment.
Here you have 2 options, Himmelmez set and Cazar set. Himmelmez set is like the previous sets: materials gathering to craft it, but Cazar set can be obtained by killing some bosses (very hard) or just buying it with MP (very easy). SInce Cazar set is better and easier to get (with MP) than Himmelmez set, I'll just post about Cazar set and how much MP you need to buy each piece.
(MP costs adjusted as of update 07/19/2017[forums.warpportal.com])
MP cost for each piece of Cazar equipmentCazar accesories can also be obtained using MP. Here's how much each piece cost.
Master Level 30 to 34 (Alternative Part A: Material List)
Alternatively you can opt to get Himmelmez set. It can be overall better with less time investment because by crafting it can yield more stars for better honing rates, but also is harder since their designs are dropped by monsters in Dark Whisper Fortress and drop rates are low.
IMPORTANT:As you know, there are 3 kinds of protection equipment in-game and they require different materials to craft them. They are:
- Himmelmez's Shabby Armor: Used to craft Knight and Warrior protection equipment.
- Himmelmez's Leather Jacket: Used to craft Monk, Ranger, Beastmaster, Assassin and Rogue protection equipment.
- Himmelmez's Robe: Used to craft Wizard, Sorcerer, Priest, Crecentia and Soulmaker protection equipment.

This item isn't really hard to get at your current level, but will take some time because of the amount of Sand of Life required to craft all Himmelmez equipment.
You'll have to kill either Mukas (low drop rate), or Musphels around Surt Temple.

To craft it you'll need:

Master Level 35 to 40 (Part A: Eddga Set)
Cazar set is nice, but you probably want to use +80 stat runes, so you have to get Eddga equipment for that. Eddga gear can be obtained from monsters (low drop rate) or bosses, but, like Cazar set, it's easier and faster to buy it with MP. It's a lot of grinding but it's worth the effort. Let's see how much MP you need for each equipment piece.
(MP costs adjusted as of update 07/19/2017[forums.warpportal.com])
MP cost for each piece of Eddga equipmentFor Eddga accesories you can try your luck killing monsters or by completing quests in Forgotten Payon to get Eddga Coins and trade them for accesories. The following table have the cost for each piece:
Eddga Coins cost for each piece of Eddga accesoryMaster Level 35 to 40 (Part B: Jawaii equipment)
At this point you have enough power with you current gear (Eddga Set), but Jawaii zone adds an even more powerful set.
Let's face it, this equipment is very hard to get, not only because of how you obtain your basic equipment (Ancient Warrior), it's because you, apart of getting this equipment, you have to dissasembly it to get certain materials to craft a Serenia equipment piece.
Let's start with Ancient Warrior equipment.
Let's start listing all materials needed for this. Classes with Off-hand equipment
