Resident Evil 5 Split Screen (late 2021)

writing this all down when i still remember the procedure.

1. Apply to the beta program in Steam with the code G4WLOriginalVersion
   
2. Download and extract the split screen https://www.mediafire
   .com/file/dm1kttyl2ia6r3c/splitscreen_para_RE_5_por_Jorsh933.rar/file mod to the gamefile root
   
3. Download and extract the xlive fix that crashes the game with an error http://www.mediafire.
   com/file/fj1igy6mh51xmhb/xlive.rar/file and the files into the gamedir root too.
   
4. Start the game with splitscreen.exe from the gamedir.
   
5. Start the game and the in-game screen should be split without further instructions/confirmations whatsoever.

Take precautions when doing this while having precious save files.
