Speedrun Tricks and bugs.
Introduction
1) The most well-known trick: boosting with the help of an NPC
2) Sharp weapon ladder (knives, katanas, axes, spears)
Another fairly common trick — though still not known to everyone.
This one is about the special properties of certain weapon types.
For example, in this GIF I use a knife to jump over a fence. You can use any other sharp weapon that can stick into a wall. The most convenient ones are a katana or a spear.
In the next GIF, I climb a high wall using the same knife, relying on precise and agile movements.
3) Pushing through the wall
First up is the Pushing through the wall bug.
It’s very old, and you’ve probably seen it at least once if you play the game regularly.
We can take advantage of it when needed. To do this, gather as many NPCs around you as possible and stand close to a wall (preferably in a corner). Then wait until the NPCs surround you — after 1–2 hits, you’ll be pushed through the wall, as long as there are no obstacles on the other side.
4) Jumping onto high obstacles using W + Shift + Ctrl
This trick may seem very easy and obvious, but it actually requires a bit of practice.
Some spots can be climbed by using the W + Shift combination and pressing Ctrl at the exact moment you touch the edge. If done correctly, the game will boost your character up by about 2 pixels, allowing you to reach the desired spot.
In the GIF, I performed two consecutive jumps using this combination.
5) Leaving the map using doors
You’ve probably noticed that doors in this game behave very strangely when you pass through them. This is especially noticeable when a crowd of NPCs tries to pass through a single narrow doorway — the door starts wriggling like a snake.
So what is this bug actually about?
First, find a passage that is as narrow as possible, preferably with a low ceiling. (The best option is a door with a frame) Then take the weapon in your hand and open the door to the side, pushing it with your whole body, while holding down the "W" + "Shift" key without releasing it. Imagine that you are a ghost and want to pass straight through it.
If you do everything correctly, that’s exactly what will happen, and the door’s physics will push you to one side. Sometimes it pushes you into a wall, but if the spot is suitable, you’ll end up on the roof.
6) The most difficult trick: box flight
The box is the lightest and most convenient prop for flying out of the map. The bug is easy to describe, but very hard to execute. You’ll need a box and a lot of persistence. (For better chances of success, use even more boxes.)

Action description.
You need to find a box and start flipping it. At the same time, during the moment of the flip, you should try to jump onto it. This is easiest to do near a wall or by using a pile of boxes in one spot. The box has to bounce and push you along with it.
Sometimes this can take minutes, and sometimes it works on the very first try.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and check out my guide.
I hope you will use these tricks solely to add variety to the gameplay. As a map creator, I would like you to complete maps the intended way first, because we create maps specifically for you so that you can fully experience the idea behind them. If you complete a map using bugs and tricks, the entire meaning of the map can often be lost, especially if it contains a lot of scripting. So please use this knowledge wisely.
