sTankyWhirl Twist Build
The Build
This is my first guide, and I'm not much of a writer. This is a guide primarily
focused on the Eye of Reckoning doing all of the damage, with Blitz and Vire's Might
abilities for moving in/out/around combat. Instead of me doing a level-by-level guide
I'm only going to give you an end goal, with goals to reach leading up to it and
explanations for what each skill will do for you to help you on your journey.
Below are two grimcalc links with, and without equipment. For new players I wouldn't worry
too much about having the right equipment as it'll probably be a few characters before you get them anyway.

- First off the primary damage types for this build is Fire/Physical/Trauma damage. Your equipment should reflect this.
- if you find yourself taking a lot of damage/ dying too quickly. Try maxing out your resistances, components can help achieve this.
- When starting fresh characters, do not think you need to max out an ability first. Focus on putting points into mastery early on with a single point into skills. All the good stuff is typically at the end of the mastery. What this will also do is improve your survivability immensely by adding physique/cunning/spirit, all of which adding health.
- If you find yourself lacking in a particular area with the build, refer to the skills listed below, and what they do to counter your problem.
- If you're fighting a boss using the Eye of Reckoning, try not to stay still, do donuts around the bosses if you can.
- Both the devotion screen, and blacksmiths have a search bar, can search anything from specific names to damage types, it all works.
- Put all points into mastery of the Oathkeeper. Once these skills are available, put 1 point into Vire's Might, Resilience, Volcanic Stride, and Eye of Reckoning. You should be able to achieve this by level 10
- Your next goal would be to complete the rest of the oathkeeper mastery points. Again putting a point into Summon Guardian of Empyrion, Soulfire, Celestial Presence, and Divine Mandate along the way. Should be able to achieve this by level 20
- Once this is done I recommend putting a few points into Eye of Reckoning again for the damage output, with Presence of Virtue to counteract any mana problems.
- After that you really just want to focus on increasing health, defenses, and damage. maybe think about getting blitz eventually to help maneuver around the battlefield as well.
- As a general note, refer to Skills & Purposes for any guidance for what you need
Skills & Purpose
Quick Skill Guide
Devotions
Fiend: Flame Torrent/Damage
Spider: Constellation Completion points
Scholar's Light: Constellation Completion points
Magi: Fissure/Damage
Vulture: Constellation Completion points
Ulzuin's Torch: Meteor Shower/Damage
Empty Throne: Resistances
Chariot of the Dead: Wayward Soul/Active Healing
Sailor's Guide: Resistances
Behemoth: Giant's Blood/Active Healing
Ghoul: Ghoulish Hunger/Active Healing
For Devotion points the main goal is to get to Ulzuin's torch for it's meteor shower, once attached to Eye of Reckoning it's consistently proc'd doing loads of damage. Combining this with Fissure on the Summons for debuff to fire, you can imagine how well it works.
If you are going for what I have devotion wise YOU WILL have to play around with the removal of points at the crossroads devotion (basic points.)
How to do this is simple, in order to put points in another constellation you only need another one already completed. Once you have two completed with the bonuses required, the basic points are no longer required.
