All the missing / upcoming units *July 2026* [WH3]
Introduction
―― Core Races ――
All races will start with their most recent edition. Most races will start with 8th edition, but some races do not have 8th edition rules, so these races will start with their most recent edition:
- Bretonnia -6th Edition
- Skaven -7th Edition
- Beastmen -7th Edition
- All other core races -8th Edition
Why the separation?
"8th Edition is clearly CA's focus and they stated that many times in the past and it's what all the games are based on. so that is the reason why 8th Edition is being seperated from the other."
Every unit that isn't from 8th Edition will have unit tags:
(FW) = The unit is from Forge World. (Tamurkhan The Throne of Chaos, Monstrous Arcanum, Storm of Magic.)
(WD) = The unit is from White Dwarf.
(OE) = The unit is from Old Editions. (4th - 7th)
(CJ) = The unit is from The Citadel Journals.
(TC) = The unit is from the Town Cryer magazines for Mordheim.
(SP) = The unit is from other Supplements, Battle Scrolls and other Expansions like Storm of Chaos, Warhammer Chronicles etc....

At the caster's command, light is driven from the battlefield and numbing darkness rushes to fill the void.
Lore of Death: The Caress of Laniph (Direct Damage)

Searing rods of magical flame shoot from the wizard's outstretched hands, trammelling his chosen foe in a fiery prison.
Lore of the Great Maw: Spinemarrow (Augment)
The Butcher holds up a gory spinal column and sucks out all the blood and marrow to empower his companions.

Lore of Nehekhara: Khsar's Incancation of the Desert Wind (Augment)

The wizard screams an ear-piercing chorus that tortures the souls and shatters the sanity of those who would stand in its path.
Lore of the Vampires: Hellish Vigour (Augment)

White Dragon (CJ #5)
Forgotten Races 1/5 - A-E
This section of the guide is about races from the lore that never got much attention and are mostly forgotten today and we will most likely never see any of these factions or units in the game. However, with the inclusion of Cathay, nothing is off the table, which means we could potentially see one or more of these races implemented, either as units for existing races or as their own race.
A race is considered "forgotten" if it does not have a faction representing it on the map.

Marsh Magic
In The Dying of the Light adventure for WFRP, the Fimir have some spells that are unique to them. It's main purpose would be to debuff the enemy, hiding/improving your own units, as well as summoning Lesser Daemons. In the new Winds of Magic supplement for WFRP, we got a new Fimir character as well as new spells in the form of the "Marsh Magic" that she uses.
While originally published in White Dwarf #310, the original creator of the army, Coleman Elliot, released an updated list in his fan-made End Times supplement [www.randyelliottart.com].

Brobat and Beesbok
Brobat and Beesbok are the 2 Gods of the Pygmies, and each have their own spells. This would be represented in one of 2 ways: 2 unique Lores of Magic , or a single Lore with 1 or 2 spells unique to each God (similar to High and Dark Magic for the Wood Elves).
In earlier editions of Warhammer, Sea Elves were their own unique race. However, in recent editions, "Sea Elves" are used to describe the sea-faring High Elves (primarily Cothique).

Note that there exists almost no units for the Chaos Snakemen in the lore, so only a few possible units will be presented here. Should the Snakemen of Khuresh be added, they'll have to be a bit more "homebrewed" by CA in order to create a full roster. However, the Brood of the Naga Queens[www.worldanvil.com] fan project does have some interesting units.
