Here are a few tips to help you.

Jump
Jump to move faster and dodge bullets. Jump in diagonal to dodge bullets and get closer to enemies.

Switching body
Before switching into a body, throw your weapon at this body. Once you switched, grab the flying weapon.

Breaking windows
Let an enemy shoot at it, as the bullet will not go through.
Throw your weapon at it if you are close to it and grab it once the window is broken.

Corners
Use corner to hide. You can hit the enemies before they hit you. Katana is a great weapon for that.

Spawns
Learn the enemy spawns to kill the enemies as they appear.

Paths
For each level you have to find a path and stick to it on every try. Practice levels separately to find your paths.
