Introduction
Before starting to read the guide, remember that in Persona 4 you have to get materials and sell them to Daidara in order to unlock new weapons/armors/accesories at his store. I will make a quick introduction to the elements you're gonna find in this guide.
Weapons are one of four equip-able items in Persona 4. Just as you would think, they are used for attacking Shadows.
New weapons can either be obtained through Side Quests, re-exploring Dungeons, or purchasing them from Daidara Metalworks in the Central Shopping District. Sell Materials obtained from winning battles to make new weapons available for sale.
If you wish to get the Ultimate Weapons, you'll have to face The Reaper. I will explain ahead who The Reaper is.
New Armor can either be obtained through Side Quests or purchasing them from Daidara Metalworks in the Central Shopping District. Sell Materials obtained from winning battles to make new armor available for sale.
If you wish to get the Ultimate Armors, you'll have to face The Reaper.
Accessories are one of four equip-able items in Persona 4. These items are used to add special bonuses to each character. Bonus can include evasion boost, stat increases, or more. Only one accessory can be equipped on each character.
New Accessories can either be obtained through Side Quests or purchasing them from Daidara Metalworks in the Central Shopping District. Sell Materials obtained from winning battles to make new accessories available for sale.
The Reaper
The Reaper is incredibly strong. Although this may be true, he can also be abused as soon as Yukiko's castle is unlocked at incredibly low levels while playing on the easiest setting, granting you retries in battle, as well as greatly increasing the damage you deal and the damage he takes. This is even easier to accomplish on a New Game Plus.
To find the Reaper, you will need to open up about 20 Treasure Chests. To make It even easier, you can open 20 chests in any dungeon, leave, save your game, and go to floor 5 of Yukiko's castle, as only two chests spawn on that floor. If you fail to discover The Reaper, simply re-load the game and try again. The chest counter will NOT be reset. Once the condition has been met, look for a treasure chest to open up. Do not open a golden chest or this will not work! The game will ask you if you're sure you want to open the chest. Say yes to possibly face the Reaper in battle. Just because you hear chains and open a non-golden chest does not ensure the chance of facing The Reaper.
The Reaper is a mini-boss of sorts. The way he battles seems to depend on which Dungeon you are in. In later dungeons, he will attack twice per turn, usually Mind Charging first, and then lashing-out at a party member's weakness with a "Dyne" level spell (Heavy Damage to an ally or entire party). It also has Break attacks that will nullify elemental resistances on your party. It may even cast a Darkness or Light skill for an instant kill.
Its affinities are neutral to all elements, except Darkness and Light. Like most boss battles, it will block Darkness and Light.
Once you defeat the Reaper, you will earn a powerful weapon. As you defeat him a few more times, you will receive a different weapon with each victory to give to each current party member. If all characters in the party have these Legendary Weapon, he will drop armor in the same manner. If all characters in the party have their Legendary Weapon and Armor, he will drop an Omnipotence Orb which is an accessory that blocks all elemental attacks save for Almighty damage.

Accessories
There are thousands and the most of them can be found in chests. I will give you a list of some notable accessories and then I will provide you a few screenshots where you can see all the existing accessories in the game.
If there are any doubt about the screenshots you can ask it on the comments. Making tables at Steam is so tedious and It would have taken a huge amount of time to write all those accessories by hand.

Event-Related Books
The three Strength event-related books are absolutely miss-able if you are on the Basketball team, so pay close attention. If you are on the Soccer team, don't worry... you'll be fine. Make sure to save the day before each book will become available. You may have to select the appropriate response to obtain the book during an outing.
- The Witch Detective: You must clear the Steamy Bathhouse before 5/29 to trigger a call from Kou. Agree to meet up and accept the book when Daisuke offers it. If you joined the basketball team, Kou will not call if he is at rank 4 or higher. Soccer club does not have this restriction.
- Poly-land: You must go to your room on the evening of 7/15 to receive the call inviting from Kou to hang out on 7/17. During the meeting, tell Kou that you're allergic to math to receive the book. If you joined the basketball team, Kou will not call if he's at rank 5 or 6. Soccer does not have this limitation.
- The O-Cha Way requires Strength rank of 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, or 9 on August 10th (8/10) if you're on the Basketball Team. You cannot get this book with Strength rank of 5 or 6 if your Social Link is Kou. Daisuke/Soccer Team can be any Strength rank to receive the book.
These last two books are not quite as restrictive as the previous three, but you still need to pay attention to get them.
- The Divine Way received during the Summer Festival on August 21st (8/21).
- The Ramen Way received only after eating at Aiya's restaurant eight times.
Books
Books can be acquired by buying them from the Yomenaido Bookstore in the Shopping District, South or earning them with quests or events.
Read an entire Book to increase a given Stat permanently. Each book can have between two and five chapters. Only one chapter can be read at a time, unless you have already read "Hyperspeed Reading." That book will allow you to read two chapters at a time. Reading will pass the time from afternoon to evening, or evening to the next day.
Outfits
Clothes are an added bonus of how you look when roaming dungeons and when you are in battle. Listed below will be how and where you can obtain your crazy new digs.
Note: Clotes are for appearance only. They do not add any stats. By the way, Croco Fur is a shop in Okina City.
Four of the costumes below are exclusively obtained from Fox when you meet him in the pre-dungeon staging area in the back side of the TV - but he'll only give the costumes up if you pat him on the head on a day when he's in a good mood. The costumes obtained this way are the Kung Fu Costume (Chie), Kingpin Duster (Kanji), Lord Flauntleroy (Teddie) and Track Suit (Chie).
The natural way to chcek if Fox is in a good mood is simply to approach him each day you enter the TV world. He'll "Yip" when you first talk to him, and "seem to be enjoying it" when you pat his head. These are the signs of a good mood. However, here's a list of dates when Fox will be in a good mood:
- May 22nd, 26th, 30th
- June 1st, 9th, 13th, 21st, 25th & 29th
