The Default Characters

The Default Characters way to earn their characters is very simple.

Once a character has completed the story you unlock the next character that is in its set.

The sets have a maximum of 3 completions and or 2 extra unlocks.

(e.g. Default Complete, Second Complete, Third Complete)

This guide list will show each set and what character will be unlocked in descending order

(e.g. <Top> First, <Middle> Second, <Bottom> Third)

The Four Default Characters

Red Knight | Blue Knight | Orange Knight | Green Knight
The DLC Default Characters

These two DLC characters are unfortuntely solely them and do not contain extra characters

The Arena Fight Characters

The Arena Characters way to earn their characters is the same except for the first step.

To unlock the first part of an arena character set, you must go to each corresponding arena and fully complete it to unlock that arena's starter.

Once a character has completed the story you unlock the next character that is in its set.

Every character in this set have two completions total and one unlock.

(e.g. Default Complete, Second Complete)

This guide list will show each set and what character will be unlocked in descending order

As well as what arena must be completed to the right of the first characters name.

The Level Completions set is very simple to accomplish.

Complete the specific level to unlock the character.

(e.g. Level Complete = Character Unlock)

As well as what level must be completed to the right of the first characters name.

Boss Fights (Insane/Regular)

The Boss Fight sets are quick and to the point

Beat the specific Boss to unlock the character that goes with it.

(e.g. Boss Defeated = Character Unlock)

This guide list will show each character, as well as what boss must be completed to the right of the characters name.

Special Characters

The Special Characters are ones that are not obtained by any means in game.

This is through alternative methods that are not traditional and quite unique in their method.

This guide list will show what character will be unlocked by their specific method below their following image

P.S. For Insane mode highly recommend Piggy or Hawkster for they will be a life saver in the long run.
