Guide To The Ultimate Cities For Purchasing Garage In ATS
Introduction
It is often believed that locations of garages doesn’t make any difference in how much profit they generate in American Truck Simulator (ATS).
However, it is far from the truth! Think of it:
There are two cities A and B.
A has 5 industries whereas B has 3. Which one do you think will have more jobs available?
You know the answer already. Don’t you?
So lets quickly move on to finding out which are the best cities to buy, not only your first garage but also the ones afterwards in ATS.
Question 1: So which city is the best for buying your first garage?
For the base version of ATS (without any DLC) the answer is: Los Angeles (California).
The reason is two-fold :
- It has 17 industries! which is the highest among all cities in the base version and
- It is one of the only 8 cities in the base version which has a Garage, Gas station, Hotel, Recruitment Agency and a Service Center.
Question 2: So after Los Angeles where should I buy my next garages?
The answer is: Phoenix (Arizona), Fresno (California), Redding (California), Bakersfield (California), Las Vegas (Nevada)
But why?
Because with the purchase of your next four garages in these cities, you will now have 6 establishments in 3 different states.
65 industrial depots
5 different truck manufacturers
The Rule of 5: GOHRS:
6 garages (G)
6 gas stations (O)
6 hotels (H)
6 recruitment agencies (R)
6 service shops (S)
A look at the table higher will tell you that in terms of facility you will have access to pretty much everything you need.
Question 3: How do you find industry rich cities in ATS?
So if you happen to find a city with similar or better industrial density accompanied with great ancillary facilities, you can be sure that it will be ripe for business.
Question 3: If you are a lucky DLC owner
