How to Unlock the True Ending (Spoiler-Light Guide)

you will need to do marie's social link to unlock the true golden ending, her social link is available until december 23rd

to start her social link, visit the velvet room at any time after april 18th

after that she will be standing outside the velvet room on any day she is available

she is available on wednesdays, saturdays, sundays and any holiday. during december she is available every day

while not required, i strongly recommend getting adachi’s social link to rank 6 before november 1st as it will enhance the story of the game a lot

his social link can be a bit confusing, instead of being available on certain days of the week, adachi has a list of specific dates where he will be available, also depending on the rank he is at he will either be available in junes during the day or at the shopping district at evening

he will not be available while a victim is in the tv, as he will be busy working to find them. so make sure to save the victim fast!

after rank 6, adachi's social link will automatically progress by playing the story

try to get an evening job (tutoring, hospital janitor & pub dishwasher). this is not required for the true ending, however adachi's social link will sometimes only be available at night, and dojima will only let you out if you have an evening job

you can apply for them at the bulletin board next to aiya at any time of the day or, in the case of pub dishwasher, at shiroku in the evening.

once you have a job, leave when dojima is home in the evening to unlock the ability to leave at evening while dojima is home

after an event happens in a hospital, you will be given the option to do something to the person who caused this, do not do this and do not let anyone else do this

the time has come to decide who you think the true culprit is, you need to think about the circumstances and who it may be, think back to everything that has happened throughout the story. there really isn't any way to help with this without spoiling the game if you really can't figure it out. the answer is here:
adachi is the true culprit. you will be given the option to visit the true culprit in the tv world alone, without the rest of the investigation team. despite your friends telling you not to, you should still do this, this option is only available through certain circumstances, if you followed this guide it will be available to you. this is not required for the true ending but similar to adachi's social link, it enhances the story of the game. after you have said goodbye to all the social links that you completed, you will be asked if you want to go home and finish packing, do not go home. go to the junes food court, this will start a cutscene.

after the cutscene, head to samegawa and talk to dojima and nanako, after that head to the velvet room and then after that head to the gas station.
