Preparation

  1. Download
    dropbox: here[www.dropbox.com]
    alternative: here[drive.google.com]
  2. Find your game folder, e.g. 'SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V'
  3. Backup original: rename `CivilizationV_DX11.exe` → `CivilizationV_DX11_backup.exe`
  4. Install patched: copy and rename `CivilizationV_DX11.borderless_windowed.exe` → `CivilizationV_DX11.exe`
  5. Disable in-game fullscreen. Exit
  6. Launch the game normally; it will be borderless-windowed
